2023 Coalition Impact Report

In 2023, due to the efforts of hundreds of its members, Evacuate Our Allies:

• Secured re-parole for Afghans that arrived through Operation Allies Welcome;

• Worked with Congressional partners to re-introduce the Afghan Adjustment Act and introduce the Afghan Allies Protection Act; 

• Participated in all eleven Afghan Support Centers held around the United States and directly engaged with over 11,000 Afghans who are resettling in communities across the country;

• Continued to assist Afghans navigating the U.S. immigration and legal systems;

• Secured policies that support Afghan minors separated from parents in the United States and others that help reunite this population with their families;

• Addressed acute and emerging issues including Congressional oversight of the 2021 evacuation efforts, Afghan arrivals at the Southern Border, USRAP’s processing of Afghans, and Afghans’ tax preparations and filings.
